Togo faces deep and persistent needs, especially in the areas of physical and spiritual poverty. We believe God’s transforming power—working through education—can bring hope and lasting change to this nation. When education is intentionally designed to help people become all God created them to be, its impact reaches far: It transforms individuals, strengthens families, renews communities, and influences society in holistic and enduring ways.

In September 2022, Koudjo and Chrischona Sodji moved to Togo with their four children to begin providing transformational education services. Since then, they and their small but growing team of Togolese colleagues have:

• established TeachBeyond Togo as a national organization,

• launched sports education programs and summer camps,

• opened a micro-school serving missionary families, and

• offered teacher training to under-resourced Christian schools.

Their long-term vision is to see a wide range of educational services used as powerful tools God can work through to transform lives for and through Christ.
